I dont want to wait, for our lives to be ova; will it be yes or will it be.....
I like to post about what's happening in the world of culture, society, entertainment and anything else I care about.
Im an independent politically speaking. This means your politically affiliations pander to ME to get MY vote. Think about that the next time they tell you your vote counts. It doesn't. It's already included.
Im a student in the big-city working on the facts of life.
I don't care about homeless people as much as I think I should. Unlike the rest of the tumblr community (maybe not YOU) I'm not looking for anyone. I'm comfortable floating through the abyss.
Existing house prices will rise 9.3 per cent in B.C., 3.6 per cent in Alberta, 26.1 per cent in Saskatchewan, 13.5 per cent in Manitoba, 3.5 per cent in Ontario, 4.7 per cent in Quebec, four per cent in New Brunswick, five per cent in Nova Scotia, three per cent in Prince Edward Island and 10.5 per cent in Newfoundland.
An interesting read for all of my Canadian readers. Cris’ cousin just sold a place in Regina. If this is true they made some serious bank on it. How can the Canadian market be doing so well while ours is doing so poorly? Oh yea, all the smart Americans are moving north. (I’m half kidding.)
——- It’s actually a bit difficult to explain. You (the US) are our largest trading partner. So your market does affect us (and the world really). But, our saving grace is oil (and water perhaps, and maybe diamonds too). Since we have pretty large deposits in Alberta (though its more difficult to extract than in the Middle East) it has created a huge boom in that province and has also shown to have improved the markets in general. On top of that we have a big lumber industry increase in both B.C. and Quebec. Other than that you’ll notice that the province of Ontario (which holds a third of the population) and the maritimes have been doing poorly. So its really an unequal boom. Our investment companies also have not investment much in the housing industry so thats helped as well it were to go bust.
Watch: Chris Matthews Tears Up Kevin James on Hardball
Long story short: conservative pundit compares Barack Obama to Neville Chamberlain, the man who gave Hitler half of Czechoslovakia.
Chris Matthews asks James what exactly it was that Neville Chamberlain did. James does not know. He flusters around calling Chamberlain an appeaser for several minutes without ever naming the major historical event associated with Chamberlain’s name.
It’s always wonderful to see pundit’s shallow talking points so blatantly eviscerated. Hee!
AMAZING VIDEO. I need to watch this show more often.
I forget if this is a prototype or it actually exists in the real world. You walk around with these shoes all day and then it transfers the energy to something else when you’re not wearing them.
i really dislike the default reblog CSS styles for a “quote” in tumblr. It defaults to bold for the reblog commentary. It is kind of yuck? I kind of like the indent thing for regular text posts.
indent get confusing especially if youre trying to figure out what each person says. bold works.
Tonight i went to the Green Room, a cozy bar in the Annex with my friend Michelle. Never been before but they’re known for their Sangrias, which I’ve never tried. Im not big on wine but i gave it a shot. V. good. Especially after the second pitcher. The fruits at the bottom were the best. Ive got three nights of back to back sushi-korean-sushi nights planned. I hope my liver and bank accounts can survive it!
that I’m wearing color, and not just black, white or grey
that I’m clearly a fan of the kissy-face
